# RF3 AI -- Enterprise AI

This document describes Stage 04 of the RF3 AI readiness model: enterprise AI systems inside the company boundary. Governed, auditable, security-aware. Connected to operations, not sitting on top as a gadget.

---

## What Enterprise AI Means Here

Enterprise AI is AI inside the company boundary: governed data access, controlled repositories, internal sandboxes, role-based permissions, and decision logic that can stand up to scrutiny. It is not casual usage of public AI tools.

RF3 AI treats enterprise AI as a structural transformation, not a technology experiment. The question is not "should we use AI?" but "how does AI change the operating model, governance, risk profile, and value of the firm?"

---

## Common Starting Points

- Management is asking for an AI strategy, but nobody in-house can design one.
- AI pilots exist, but no architecture holds up under regulation.
- The EU AI Act applies now. It is unclear which systems are affected.
- Consultants deliver slide decks. What is needed is a governable implementation.

---

## Why RF3 AI / BlackAI

- **Research-backed.** Every framework is based on peer-reviewed research. Not vendor documentation.
- **Architecture, not implementation.** RF3 AI designs and coordinates. A curated partner network builds.
- **EU AI Act from day one.** Compliance is built into the architecture. Not retrofitted when the regulator arrives.
- **Valuation expertise.** AI impact is quantified in firm value terms, using the same frameworks as in investor due diligence.

## Three Phases -- Six Steps

Every engagement follows the same structure: Audit, Build, Run. Each phase contains detailed steps. The audit alone gives a clear picture. Most companies start there.

### Phase 01 -- Audit (2-4 weeks)

#### 01 -- AI Audit

Understand where you stand. Map what AI can structurally change in the business and where the limits are. Processes, data assets, decision chains, and technology readiness.

Outcomes:
- Process and data landscape mapping
- AI readiness assessment per business unit
- Opportunity matrix: impact vs. feasibility
- Risk and governance gap analysis

### Phase 02 -- Build (8-16 weeks)

#### 02 -- Architecture Design

Design how AI fits the firm. A system blueprint that fits the operating model, data governance, and regulatory requirements. EU AI Act compliance is integrated from the start.

Outcomes:
- Target AI architecture aligned to the business model
- Data governance and access framework
- EU AI Act risk classification and compliance mapping
- Build-vs-buy recommendation per component

#### 03 -- Implementation & Coordination

RF3 AI plans it. The partner network builds it. Milestones, work packages, and execution, coordinated through a curated network of engineers and AI infrastructure specialists.

Outcomes:
- Phased implementation roadmap
- Partner selection and coordination
- Quality gates and milestone tracking
- Ongoing alignment with management and steering committees

#### 04 -- EU AI Act Compliance

Built compliant. Not patched later. Risk classification, transparency obligations, human oversight, data governance, and conformity assessment. Integrated into every system designed.

Outcomes:
- Risk classification per AI system
- Conformity assessment and documentation
- Transparency and human oversight frameworks
- Regulatory-ready audit trail

### Phase 03 -- Run (ongoing)

#### 05 -- Revaluation

Measure what AI changed. Once enterprise AI is operational, firm value changes. Margins, defensibility, scalability, and strategic optionality created by the AI layer are recalculated.

Outcomes:
- Updated company valuation post-AI integration
- Impact quantification on margins and scalability
- Defensibility and IP assessment
- Management-ready valuation report

#### 06 -- Ongoing Advisory

Alignment with management and evolving regulatory requirements on a continuous basis. Monitoring, optimisation, and continuous model improvement as the business grows.

## Custom AI: Your Data. Your Model.

In partnership with technology partner 01 Engineering, RF3 AI develops company-owned AI models. Trained on the client's data, aligned to their processes.

- **Fine-Tuning** -- Foundation models trained on the client's domain language, processes, and decision logic.
- **Source of Truth** -- The client's entire company knowledge, structured, versioned, and made accessible for AI.
- **Custom Agents** -- AI agents that understand internal workflows and handle tasks autonomously.
- **Full Data Control** -- All data stays in the client's infrastructure. GDPR-compliant. No vendor lock-in.
- **Domain Knowledge** -- Models that know the client's industry, regulation, and customers.
- **Continuous Learning** -- Feedback loops and re-training so the AI grows with the business.
